ERTE Consulting Engineers Plc is an engineering office founded in 1984 by Georges Spoehrle, a heating, ventilation, air conditioning and solar engineer (HVCS). Recognized for its creativity and its competences in global and innovative energy concepts, the field of application of ERTE is wide.
For many years, ERTE has been putting its skills at the service of private individuals, local authorities and international organizations, particularly in the context of the construction of administrative, rental and hospital buildings, laboratories, apartments, villas and schools, but also in the context of renovation and refurbishment projects.

Innovative solar system
Today, no one asks the question to innovate the simplest things of everyday life anymore. And for good reason, it is these simple things that are the most difficult to develop. However, ERTE has done it by developing the SUNERGIE® system which combines innovation, reproducibility, solar and small geothermal energy.
The SUNERGIE® concept is a revolutionary solar system for heating, cooling and domestic hot water production. SUNERGIE® is ideal for new buildings and for the renovation of existing heating and hot water systems by making intelligent use of the existing distribution. A very simple system, but it had to be thought of. The concept is unique and new, and has evolved over time in an innovative way, while remaining simple, reliable, durable and economical. The multifunctionality of SUNERGIE® requires a lot of creativity and ingenuity from the engineering office.
Pioneer of the Canadian well
ERTE has installed no less than ten Canadian wells. An ecological solution to pre-heat and “air-condition” the premises. Simple and efficient, our installations allow you to make energy savings and ensure optimal comfort. The Canadian well is a system that is made to last. They have a lifespan of 100 years, at least like the buildings.
The objective of the Canadian well is to regulate the thermal variations of your house. By controlling the air temperature, this geothermal system will allow you to lower the temperature of the ambient air in your home in the summer and to warm your home in the winter. All this for free and without polluting emissions. A very simple operation but, it was necessary to think about it.
The video above represents the latest generation of standardized Canadian wells designed, developed, built and commissioned in 2018 by ERTE: PACAir-Water + Canadian Well. The best price/performance and durability ratio ever. Our SUNERGIE® Canadian wells are valid for both new construction and renovation.
Indeed, our PACAir-Water + Canadian Well system is able to replace oil heating installations in the plains but also at high altitude like in Sonchaux (VD) at 1’300 m. Our SUNERGIE® system is able to draw energy from “small” geothermal energy with high efficiency everywhere, both in winter to heat and produce domestic hot water and in summer to cool. Who says better?
And this without using expensive geothermal probes while obtaining the same or better annual yield.
